Confined Space Training Course in Gloucestershire
The Medium Risk Confined Space course takes place at the Tortworth Business Park, Gloucestershire. The training centre is conveniently situated one mile from Junction 14 of the M5 and a short drive from Cam & Dursley train station. The centre is easily accessible from Bristol via the M5, Gloucester via the A38, Stroud via the A46, and Bath via the A4 and M4.
Free on-site parking is available. Lunch is not provided, but there are nearby dining options within a 5-minute drive, including the on-site café.
The CABWI-accredited Medium Risk Confined Spaces course ensures you understand the risks and gain the skills to work safely in confined spaces. You’ll learn to handle more complex environments, such as sewers, tunnels, and underground vaults, addressing potential hazards like difficult access or atmospheric risks. This training provides the practical knowledge and certification to safely enter and manage confined spaces. Medium-risk confined spaces training covers more complex environments with increased potential hazards compared to low-risk training.
You will have the opportunity to get practical experience working in medium risk confined spaces. The course incorporates entry and self-rescue procedures.

What to expect from your course
On the Medium Risk Confined Spaces course, you will learn about more complex and potentially hazardous confined spaces. The training will expand on concepts covered on the low risk confined spaces training, giving you a deeper understanding of how to identify hazards, risk assessment and control measures. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the specific hazards that classify a confined space as medium risk: toxic atmospheres, limited access or egress (exit points). There is a large practical element to this course, which will include entering and working in a medium risk confined space, applying more advanced control measures and developing robust emergency plans.
