This course that is designed to give you a basic understanding of confined spaces, their hazards and the precautions needed to work safely around them.
Who is the Confined Space Awareness Course for?
This course is designed and suitable for managers, supervisors and operatives whose role has some involvement with confined spaces. Where there may be a risk of emergency evacuation from confined spaces or some basic confined space knowledge would help in their job role for example, when completing risk assessments. This course will not qualify you to directly enter confined spaces.

Your course is approved by CITB and will therefore cover the following objectives as standard:

Confined Space Awareness Course Aims

Accreditation
The Confined Space Awareness course is approved by CITB, you will earn a certificate valid for 3 years. ID cards are available on request from the training school for a small charge and they will require a recent photo of the delegate.
City & Guilds
Our Confined Space Awareness course is not accredited by City & Guilds. We do however offer the following City & Guilds Confined Spaces courses:
Assessment and Certification
You will complete an assessment that will cover the content covered in the course.
This course is accredited by CITB and your certificate will be valid for 3 years.
Entry Requirements
You will need to be able to read and write English to complete this course.
Special considerations
CITB allow “reasonable adjustments” to support delegates on their approved courses. This includes assistance from an invigilator, however, adequate time must be given for arrangements to be made before the course starts. If you request support, details will be passed on confidentially to the trainer of the course to assess what arrangements can be made.
