What is an Asbestos Awareness Open Course?

The aim of an Asbestos Awareness course is to raise awareness about asbestos hazards, educate participants about proper safety precautions, and promote responsible handling and management of asbestos. This is to minimise the risk of exposure and related health issues. At the end of your course, you will recognise the dangers of asbestos and will become aware of the regulations associated with and directly connected to asbestos.

On receiving payment for your Asbestos Awareness course, an email with your ‘course joining instructions’ is sent to you.
This document includes the following details:
- Your chosen course date (Asbestos Awareness is a half-day course)
- Course start time at your chosen venue
- Address of your chosen venue, including a map screenshot
- Details of what to do if you need any special requirements to complete the course, such as a physical disability or a learning or reading difficulty
You need to bring photographic ID, such as a driving licence or passport with you.
Lunch is not included.
