What is the CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Refresher Open Course?

An Open Course is run face-to-face in a classroom. Join other delegates and your trainer in one of our venues across the UK to keep your knowledge and CITB certification up-to-date.

Temporary Works Coordinators have key responsibilities on construction sites, which may include planning and designing coordination, risk assessment, inspection and monitoring and training and guidance. The refresher course will update and refresh the knowledge and skills that you gained on the full Temporary Works Coordinator course, which is needed every 5 years. You must have an in-date certificate at the time of taking the refresher course, otherwise, you will have to take the full course.

You will be issued with a new CITB Temporary Works Coordinator certificate, which will be valid for another 5 years.

The Temporary Works Coordinator Refresher course is aimed at those who have a responsibility for coordinating and managing temporary works on construction sites that have already completed the full course. This includes those who already have or want to have, a Temporary Works Coordinator role, Construction Site Managers, Construction Project Managers, Engineers and Designers, Site Supervisors and Health and Safety Professionals.
