NRSWA Reassessment – O1 or S1 (was Unit 2 and Unit 10) Signing, Lighting and Guarding - Open Course
Who should attend a NRSWA Signing, Lighting and Guarding Reassessment?
If your streetworks card is about to or has already expired, you will need to take a NRSWA Streetworks reassessment course.
You are not able to work on a streetworks site with expired certificates. You can take reassessments at any time before your certificates expire and the remaining time left before expiry is now added to your new card. For example, if you take your reassessment with 6 months still remaining, it will be added to your new card when you receive it, resulting in 5 years and 6 months on your card expiry.

NRSWA Reassessments and Certificates
As agreed by HAUC (UK), the NRSWA reassessments are in the form of knowledge-based, multiple-choice tests. On this course you will take one assessment, either the O1 or the S1
The reassessment for your signing, lighting and guarding course consists of 20 questions. You will have 45 minutes to complete it and to pass you will need to achieve 80% or more.
You will receive your certificate and card around 12-16 weeks after you have taken your reassessment. We can provide you with a confirmation letter if you have passed the unit and need it to work on site.
Entry Requirements & Special Considerations
You must have completed the full signing, lighting and guarding course to be eligible to enrol on the reassessment. In addition, you need to complete the reassessment within 5 years of your card’s expiry, or you will have to complete the full course or courses again.
