In addition, you will learn how to safely perform gas testing and cover lifting. There are no formal prerequisites to enrol, however, the course is available to those 16 and above.

Entry Requirements

As this is a refresher course, you must have previously completed Smart Awards SA002 Underground Safety. Additionally, this Smart Awards accreditation requires individuals working on the highway to have the necessary NRSWA Street Works qualifications. It ensures that the person is qualified to verify that the planned work meets the legal requirements of the NRSWA. Importantly, this course is open to individuals aged 16 and over, and a basic knowledge of literacy is required to complete the assessment.
