EUSR SHEA Power Course in West Lothian
The EUSR SHEA Power course takes place at the training venue in West Lothian, Scotland. Located just off the M8, making it well-connected to major routes including Livingston via the A899, Bathgate via the A89, and Whitburn via the A706. Blackridge Station is just 4 minutes away by taxi, and the nearest bus stop, a 4-minute walk away, is served by routes 21 and 6, connecting to nearby towns.
There is free on-site parking available. Conveniently, lunch will be provided to you on your training course.
This course will qualify you for a CSCS Partner Card, proving you have the necessary health and safety knowledge to access operational sites within the power industry, whether you’re an operative, supervisor, or manager, requiring temporary or permanent access.

What to expect from your course
On the EUSR SHEA Power course, you’ll complete 8 modules: 6 core modules common to all SHEA courses, and 2 modules specific to the UK power industry. The modules are as follows:
- Module 1: Power generation and distribution
- Module 2: Your responsibilities
- Module 3: Understanding the effects of our work on the environment
- Module 4: Identifying and controlling risks
- Module 5: Common hazards in the workplace
- Module 6: Occupational health hazards
