Module 1: A Healthy Company: This module focuses on why it makes good business sense to manage workplace health and wellbeing.

Module 2: Health Risk Management: Module 2 gives delegates the knowledge of different health hazard categories and the type of health hazard in each category. In addition, this module covers the causes of these health hazards and their impact on health.

Module 3: Fitness For Work: Understand the types of personal or health conditions that affect fitness for work and the importance of managing the fluctuations in people’s health status. Learn how to assess and manage the impact of personal and health conditions on employees.

Module 4: Wellbeing: Module 4 explains the aims and benefits of the promotion of a wellbeing programme that can influence and add value to an organisation.

Assessment and Certification

You will complete a 30 minute exam consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions. You will need to achieve 60% or more to pass the IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing.

On successful completion of your course, you will be sent details of your IOSH account where you can download and print your certificate. You can request a printed copy from IOSH for an additional charge.

Can IOSH courses be run on-site?

Our IOSH Working and Managing Safely courses can be run on your site or a location convenient for you. They are accredited by IOSH wherever the location as the training will be provided by one of our expert trainers. Call the PSS training team on 0800 0213 263 today for a quote, if you have a group of delegates this is the most cost-effective and convenient way to get your staff trained.

How long will my IOSH certificate take to arrive?

IOSH certificates are now provided electronically via the IOSH portal. It takes approximately 2 weeks for the certificates to be put onto your portal. You can request a paper copy from IOSH at an extra cost.

Maximum delegates on an IOSH course?

IOSH allow a maximum of 20 delegates per course, however, to get the most out of training we recommend having no more than 12 delegates. If you would like a group trained we can accommodate any group size up to 20.

What do I need to bring to my IOSH course?

Nothing, just turn up on the day and everything will be provided for you.

I am a manager and need health and safety training...

The IOSH Managing Safely training course is for managers and supervisors. Not sure what you are responsible for? This course will teach you what you need to know, no more, no less, in an informative and interactive way. We run IOSH classroom courses for IOSH Managing Safely UK-wide. Have you considered the virtual course option if you can't find a suitable location? The same content, the same certificate achieved, and the virtual course is run online via Zoom with one of our expert trainers. With our virtual course option, achieve the IOSH Managing Safely certificate without the hassle of travel. Want to study at your own pace? Our IOSH Managing Safely course is now available on our eLearning platform. You will achieve the same certificate, just like the classroom-based and virtual course options, but you have the option of studying anywhere, any time.

I have a group of delegates to train, can I split the course?

Yes, if you have a group of delegates and you can't release them for more than a day at a time, you can split the course. Depending on the learning hours of the course, you can split it into a block of 1 day a week or however suits your staff and their timetable.
