NRSWA Signing, Lighting and Guarding Reassessment
Your NRSWA signing, lighting and guarding certificate will expire after 5 years. You can renew your card by taking the 1-day or 2-day NRSWA Streetworks Operative or Supervisor Signing, Lighting and Guarding course again or completing the half-day reassessment course. You can not work on a Streetworks site without having an in-date NRSWA card or certificate, however, you can take the reassessment courses up to 5 years after the expiry without having to take the full course again.
You can take reassessments at anytime before your certificate expires and the remaining time left before expiry is now added to your new card. For example, if you take your reassessment with 6 months still remaining, it will be added to your new card when you receive it, resulting in 5 years and 6 months on your card expiry.
